‘Is abortion morally acceptable?’ debate to be held on campus

Local anti-abortion activist Scott Mahurin and philosophy professor John Miller will participate in a debate on the topic of abortion this month at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg campus.

The debate, “Is abortion morally acceptable?” will be held in the Community Room at Harbor Hall on the USFSP campus, 1000 Third St. S. on Thursday, October 25 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Miller has taught philosophy for over 40 years at the university level. Mahurin is the director of Florida Preborn Rescue, an anti-abortion activist group based here in St. Petersburg.
