Stars in Motion

It’s the second go round of USFSP’s premiere dance showcase, “Stars in Motion“, presented by the South Florida All Stars, featuring performances from the Herd Step Team and Rogue Dance Company. The show can be described as a spectacle of breathtaking moments. The performances by the South Florida All Stars ranged from hip hop to contemporary to lyrical with songs that featured Bruno Mars, Peter Gabriel, and Jennifer Hudson.

Connect went behind the scenes to several practices and rehearsals, and created the intro and closing video sequences for the show.

USFSP Homecoming Week 2015

With the theme “Bulls Unite,” USFSP students gather for an exciting week full of school spirit, adventures and A LOT of fun.

The Homecoming Week line up consisted of numerous events including Rocky’s Fun Run, the homecoming kickoff, homecoming ball, the traditional cardboard boat race, homecoming game, and much more.

USFSP’s Miracle Dance Marathon (2015-2016)

Dance Marathon has become a premiere event very quickly since its inception in 2015 when USFSP raised over $6,000 for All Children’s Hospital and kids dealing with life-threatening illness. This more than tripled the goal of $2,015 set for the event.

In 2016, the USFSP Dance Marathon organization went all in and set a lofty $10,000 goal. The students came through and surpassed the goal raising $10,068.

Students stay on their feet and dance for the 8-hour event in support of children that can’t. Parents come in with their children and bring their personal stories to the stage.

The ballrooms are filled with activities, food, and socialization as seen in the videos below.
