There has been a lot of talk, and confusion, about the proposal to phase out the separate accreditation of the University of South Florida St. Petersburg (USFSP) and the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee (USFSM) from the Tampa campus. The bill, which would be implemented by June of 2020, has become a controversial topic among all those involved.
In an effort to encouraged an informed dialogue about the issue, members of the Connect team sat down with USFSP Student Body President David Thompson to ask some of the questions weighing on the minds of students.
