The University of South Florida St. Petersburg is aiding sick and injured children in the local community through this year’s Dance Marathon.
The school is raising funds and awareness through the event for the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. This annual event is part of a nationwide movement involving college and high school students at more than 250 schools across the country. The fundraising and events culminated with the Dance Marathon, an 8-40 hour long event where the students danced, played games and watched entertainment.
This year’s marathon was held on March 6 from 5 p.m. until 1 a.m. at the USC Ballrooms.
