St. Petersburg is well-known for the exciting nightlife in Downtown. However, it can be difficult for those under the drinking age to find establishments that are 18 and up. Nearly all of the clubs in the downtown St. Pete area are for those over 21. Now, I understand that going out is not for everyone. Sometimes, you just want to enjoy the beautiful city of St. Petersburg. The city has numerous landmarks, both natural and man-made, that will take your breath away. There are also three trip-worthy destinations included for daytime fun. For the young college students that want to take time off and relax, here are eight places to check out that are fun and under 21.

1. Mad Hatter’s

Mad Hatter’s Ethnobotanical Tea Bar is a kava bar that goes beyond just serving kava. Their main products are kava, kratom and vapes. However, they also offer a variety of games such as darts, pool, ping pong and multiple board games. Another interesting factor is the unique wall art that is displayed. There are murals inside and outside of the building that perfectly follow the Alice in Wonderland theme.

2. Johnny Vapors

Johnny Vapors is a vape shop and lounge located right on Central Avenue. Similar to Mad Hatter’s, they also sell kava and kratom. You can bring your own vape or purchase some from their wide variety. Johnny Vapors radiates that relaxing and chill vibe that we all need at some point.

8. Vinoy Park

For those looking for outdoor relaxation, Vinoy Park is beautifully located on the downtown waterfront in St. Petersburg. This is a great destination where you can create your own fun. For students, I recommend renting bikes from The Edge (it’s free) and biking to the park. The trip isn’t too long, and the views are worth it.
