On the second day of Homecoming week, the Harborside Activities Board (HAB) ended the day with The Monte Carnabull. The carnival featured many different attractions and included catering from Sodexo, a bungee trampoline and bumper cars. Fun Crew USA from Orlando provided a zip line and a mechanical bull. Students were also offered a free novelty school spirit street sign provided by Amped Events. The sign was customizable with the students’ name and graduating year.
“Carnabull got me in the homecoming spirit and made me excited for the rest of the events coming throughout the week,” said sophomore Charlene Hall.
The atmosphere in the USC parking lot was cheerful as friends met up to the enjoy the event. A DJ was hired to help get students in the festive spirit and many danced along to today’s hits. The star of the event was the zip line, which soared high above the other attractions and had students lined up ready to experience a thrill. Excited students left the event looking forward to the homecoming dance.
